  • Interesting to see how the courts rule on this one. While it is an intrusion into private business, it also would fall under OSHA guidelines that a safe work environment must be maintained.

  • OK...want to ban all distractions. No more kids in a car. Screaming children, fighting and goofing around have caused many accidents but we haven't said that children are not allowed in cars. What about dogs, cats, etc.

  • My support to the union workers of Wisconsin. Don't give up the fight. This is no different from the beginning of unions. I look at those in the private sector who are thinking this is great.

  • I am shocked at how many people in these comments did not read the article. It was very clear in the article that government workers require more education and earn less. Those government workers with less education are earning more then their private sector counterparts.

  • Not sure what the laws say in Wisconsin, but if you take away the right to collectively bagin then you have to give these people the right to strike. I am an RN in another state and we collectively bargin but we cannot strike.

  • I read this article because I always had a keen interest in astronomy. In practice I am an RN and a few comments in I realized that intellectually I am in over my head but I really enjoyed reading them and agree that we need to find a way to travel at or beyond the speed of light.

  • Let's talk real costs here. Let's say there was a cure for cancer. People would still get cancer so it would continually need to be treated. Imagine having the patent for that drug...which wouldn't just be one drug, since there are so many different types of cancer. Next, lets consider other costs.
